Degrees from accredited Brazilian universities are recognised by HEC, and Brazil’s leading public universities are well known in research. We only shortlist accredited universities.
Can I study in Brazil in English?
Mainly at master’s and PhD level, where some programmes and supervisors work in English. Almost all bachelor’s programmes are taught in Portuguese.
Is university free in Brazil?
Public universities do not charge tuition, including for many international students, but entry is competitive and usually needs Portuguese. Private universities charge monthly fees.
How much does it cost to live in Brazil?
Living costs are typically BRL 2,500 to 4,500 a month, depending on the city. We confirm current figures at your assessment.
Which visa do I need for Brazil?
The VITEM IV temporary visa for study, from the Brazilian embassy after you receive your acceptance letter. You then register with the Federal Police within 90 days of arriving.
Can I work while studying in Brazil?
